We have used Randy Packard with Superior Interiors in Hooksett. It is a bit of a drive from the Lake but the wqork is great, on time and very reasonably priced. We had him do our bow cushions last summer and he was 1/2 of what we were quoted on the lake.

In Concord has an excellent reupolstery shop. You should see the furniture for sale there! Lots of talent in the cell blocks!

Upholstery

My wife had Wayne, from Upholstery of New Hampshire in Meredith, reupholster a chair a year or so ago and was very happy with his work. She is currently having another one done. His telephone number is 387-4757. If you contact him, pleaase tel him Brenda recommended him. Thank you.

PS: He brought samples to our house and picked up and delivered the chair.

On the Laconia side of the lake,Tom's Tops'n Trim does expert work and very fair prices. He does everything from custom interiors on collecter cars to simple repairs on bimini tops and covers.
He's on Bay st by Winnisquam st....almost accross from the old Martel's bait shop.....out of the way but well worth finding.

Try Converse Upholstery in Farmington. He is off 10 rod road. He does furniture as well as a mean mooring cover, or full boat enclosure.

My wife is going down Friday to pick up a Wingback chair and cushion that they have completely re-upholstery. No where near the prices we got in the Lakes area.

She wanted an over sized cushion made that would be 12" thick. Local upholsterer quoted $250.00 for the foam plus the cost of the fabric. It is in preparation of Knee Replacement in July.

We have both bought and had things made to order.
