Birds on the swim platform!
 

Does anyone have an effective solution for reducing the population of birds that like to sit on our swim float? We've seen a swim float with a fake owl perched on it and one with some kind of a spinning device (looks like a mini wind measuring instrument) in the center. Do these work?

It's nice to have bird watching so accessible, but the mess they leave behind...not so nice!

I too enjoy watching birds but I am British.:laugh:Just kidding.Put out a sign that lets them know they can play here put to pick up after themselves."No Bird Fouling" should also work.:laugh:
FLL is rubbing off on me.

There are wind aided whirly bird devices that are prevelent on moored boats on the ocean that I've seen limited success with.
