Does anyone remember the Glendale Store?? It also had gas pumps.

Remember it very well. My sister befriend the owners and we use to call them Mr and Mrs. 'Glendale'. My Mom had the address of the owners when they retired to FL. They were nice people.

I loved that store. I was just a kid and I loved going there for candy, worms and comic books. We used to fill our drinking-water containers from their hose. That kind of grosses me out now that I think about it. Well, guess we all had stronger guts because of it.

Yes... I remember that hose, did the same thing, had to let it run for a while for the water to get cold :laugh:
