Cup and Crumb - Moultonboro

Looks like they are open... From what I remember of the sign on the door, most days 6:30 or 7am-3pm, closed tuesday, sunday close is at 1pm.

They were closed when I stopped by, so I can't comment on the food...yet. At the corner of 109 and 'old route 109' in m'boro, about 1/2 mile from the 109/25 intersection. If you get to Buckey's, you've gone too far.

Worth a try

They have a nice Facebook site. I stopped in this week for lunch. That is not their speciality, but the bacon and cheese scone was unusual and good. The breakfast pastry selection looks good and I'll have to try the Key Lime Pie one of these days. The seating inside isn't plentiful, but is comfortable. Overall, a nice looking place.

Tried it out this morning, blueberry muffin was very good, and the coffee and stickybuns got a 'delicious' review from my cohorts. We'll be back.

Cup and Crumb is YUMMY!

I live in Moultonborough and finally got a chance to stop in to The Cup and Crumb. They do fly an OPEN flag, so it's easy to tell. I did see quite a few cars in the parking lot too, which was a good sign.

I had a capuccino and a piece of crumb cake. Both were very good. They have a wide variety of coffees, teas, etc. They have all sorts of flavors that can be added to your beverage too. The Capuccino/Espresso machine was impressive.

They had quite a variety of sweets too. They had crumb cake, sticky buns, whoopie pies, lace oatmeal cookies, ginger cookies filled with orange cream, I can't remember the other sweets in the case. They also had a quiche and ham and cheddar scones.

In their refrigerated case, they had a beautiful vanilla layer cake (that's what it looked like, not necessarily what it is) that was being sold by the slice. They also had some lemon squares that looked great. There might have been a cheesecake, but don't hold me to it.

So, overall, I think they had a pretty wide variety of beverages and sweets.

The interior looks great too. There is a table for four as well as a few other seating areas for two people. The interior really has a great vibe.

I wish the owners success. I will be back. I know my husband will go wild over the sticky buns.

Finally made a visit!

With a few minutes on my hands, I did finally stop in to the new shop. It is quite nice inside. The place is very welcoming. I was greeted by the Owner's Mom who was a little frantic saying they were almost sold out of everything! That is great news for a new local business.

I had a cookie dough brownie which was good and tasted even better served on a "real" plate with a "real" fork! My drink was an iced coffee, more of the "stronger" blend that you will find at Starbucks. Not my thing, but it was still good.

I will go back. The atmosphere inside was not the usual drop in for coffee and such in the Lakes Region. It seemed as if I were back in Cambridge or Brookline Mass. Not a bad thing and a nice change. Sort of felt like an adult again. :)

Amazing breakfast treats

Just returned from Cup and Crumb with breakfast for my guests. So much easier than cooking. Each morning C & C makes a different breakfast sandwich. So far we have tried two of them, both delicious. Sandwiches come on a very light biscuit with egg and sausage. The egg is usually and omelet or frittata with some sort of delicious flavor like caramelized onion and pepper or today's herbs. Today's was outstanding. We also sampled croissants and coffee cake. What a treat. They also brew excellent coffee and offer Wifi. I have run out of adjectives and I did not even describe the cupcakes on display!

Thank goodness for this new coffee and breakfast spot on this end of the lake. Sorry DD we won't be making the trip.

Nice place

I've stopped here a few times. I must say its nice to be able to get some pretty decent espresso drinks in Moultonboro and I wish the owners the best of luck with their new venture.
All the baked goods I've sampled have been quite good , especially the croissant and the apple coffee cake.
Also I've been told that they take cake orders for special occasions.

You most definitely can get a specialty cake from Cup and Crumb

You see, the specialty cakes, as well as ALL of the baked goods available, are the "For Goodness Cakes" part of the Cup and Crumb. I can only upload one picture, so check out Jennifer Clifford's "For Goodness Cakes" on Facebook for more pictures, including specialty cookies and cupcakes!
