February 2008 averaged a few degrees warmer than last February although the max temp was about the same, and this February had a much lower minimum temp than last.

In terms of snowfall, this February had more than double the amount of last February and three times the normal amount. As one might expect, the snow depth was also much greater this year and was at its maximum as the month ended.

This February was nearly five times wetter than last, and most if not all of it either fell as snow or became absorbed into the existing snowpack.
