May Annual Meeting and Dinner
May 3rd at the Balmoral Club House. It will be a Buffet Dinner catered by Harts Turkey Farm (the same buffet menu that would be served at their restaurant). Roast Turkey, Roast Beef and all the fixings and Carrot Cake for dessert. There will be Appetizers and Tea and Coffee. Please RSVP by May 1st at the latest. The cost for the dinner will be $15.00 per person for adults and $7.00 for children. Make checks payable to Moultonboro Snowmobile Club. Arrival for social time is 6:30P.M. Dinner will be served at 7:00P.M.
We need a minimum of 30 members signed up by May 1st.

As before, we will need help with both setting up the tables and cleaning up afterwards. Help will be graciously accepted.
There will be a raffle for the Trail Fund and/or Easter Seals. Anyone can bring an item to raffle and designate which fund will receive the donation.
Don't forget! Call or e-mail to make your reservation by MAY 1st.
Anyone not signing up before hand may have to wait until all those with reservations have been served before entering the buffet line.

Election of Officers:
The Slate of Officers and Directors was presented by the Nominating Committee at the April Business Meeting. There were no nominations from the floor. The Slate was accepted as presented to the Membership. There is a space for Write in votes on the Ballot if someone wants to run for a specific position. Please do not write someone in that will not accept the position if elected. The position of Secretary was not filled.
The Ballots were sent out last week. You may mail them to the Clubs’ PO Box; PO Box 118, Moultonboro, NH 03254 or bring them to the Annual Meeting, May 3rd. THANKS to the Nominating Committee for their efforts.

New Grooming Equipment
With the approval of the purchase of the new 2009 Tucker 1000 Groomer we have started a fund raising drive to offset the $23,000 that is the Clubs portion of the purchase. We are seeking donation from all members in any amount. For a donation of $50.00 you will receive a new Club Hat and for a donation of $100.00 or more, you will receive a long sleeve denim shirt with the club logo on it. Donations may be mailed to Moultonboro SMC PO Box 118, Moultonboro, NH 03254. Please note check “Groomer Fund”.

Trail Conditions
The Moultonboro trails were officially closed on April 4th. What a season. A BIG THANK YOU to all those who worked on the Trails this past Summer and Fall. It was the work done preparing the trails that made them so easy to groom. And the Groomers who spent countless hours grooming all that snow that made this one of the BEST riding season ever! A special thanks to the guys that drove the Skandiks on those cold nights. Toward the last weeks of the season Mother Nature had taken a toll on all of our grooming equipment. There is a long list of maintenance that needs to be done over the coming months to get every thing ready for next year.
I do not want to leave Leo Lemoine out of this review without saying how important his efforts have been to make all this happen.

Thoughts for Next Season
If any one has ideas for next Seasons social meetings, Dinners, Club Rides, Club Trips or any other event you would like to see the Club do next Season please forward them to Cheryl at winnfabric@roadrunner.com. When proposing an event please keep in mind that we need people to organize and volunteer to have things happen.

New Website Site Address
In an effort to provide our members with the best web presentation we have changed our Internet Service Provider and our website address to www.moultonborosmc.org. The .org being the actual address change.

Club Information
I will be writing one more complete Newsletter for May. If any one would like to contribute a topic please do. During the “OFF SEASON” we will continue to post what is happening on our website. I may, from time to time send out E-mail updates of what is happening during the off season too.
