Was it the one with the triangular wing aka a "trike"?

I saw one of those flying around Meredith Bay Friday at about 100' agl.

Yes, a kite with attached lawnmower engine!

Wonder if it was a Tecumseh or B&S engine?

Thankfully it sounds like he will be OK.

Kudos to the folks who stopped to help, Ive never found a shortage of people willing to jump and do what is needed on Winnipesaukee, whether its was a simple jump start, a tow to a public dock or even home, and certainly in an actual emergency - whatever was needed.

Finding the ultralight

Does anyone know how I can reach Mr. Grapes? Depending of who is doing the search and how they do it it may or may not be easy to find.

Water in Meredith Bay-where I was diving yesterday-had visibility of perhaps 10 feet in 66 feet of water.

Email me at: info@sonarsar.com

Thank you all.

My wife met the pilot today at the Verizon store in Meredith. He was buying a new phone as his was on the bottom of the lake. He sang the praise of the people that came to his aid right away. Said it was pretty scary as he was trying to get his harness off before it pulled him under.

It's more likely a Rotax powered aircraft.
