Crank up dock and swim raft pricing

Has anyone had a 6x40' crank up aluminum dock or a swim raft installed this season? looking to see what others have paid for comparison.

Yes....

I have a 6 X 40 crank up dock with Azek decking panels. Also have a mooring in about 6 feet of water. The person I use puts the dock and mooring in in the spring and takes it out in the fall. He charges approx. $250 for each visit, (approx. $500 for the year).

Sorry if I wasnt clear, I meant prices to purchase,
not remove and install seasonally. We are closing on a property this week and have permitting in process. Looking to install a new 6x40' dock and probably grab a swim raft for next season.

We had one installed this year by the company we have been using for years.
6x40 with cedar decking.
Cost a little over $12,000.00

sorry....purchase price was....

.....$14K. 6 X 40 Aluminum frame with Azek decking. Included all permitting and installation, as well as demo and removal of old permanent dock. We also have a winch pole, which goes in the ground...not just a crank bolted to a tree.

Same basic price we paid. Two 6x40 aluminum docks, connected as a “U” with cedar decking, stained, with two winch posts, cranks and cement pads installed for $30k. Included all the permitting. Wasn’t cheap but the dock is fantastic and well used by family and friends. We used Center Harbor Dock and Pier.

Had a 6X33' installed 2-3 years ago. Paid 12000+ for it. It was a custom dock due to large boulder at 36'. Also included 2 cross pipes(should on a 40'), one at end, one on 3rd section from end. Stiffens it right up. Had Azek decking and bumpers mounted on posts(3). Got mine from Raise-A-Dock which uses galv pipe with base for support. Easy to adjust. Dennis easy to work with. Many people can attest to his work on this forum.

We had a 6x30 crankup frame installed 3.5 years ago by Center Harbor Dock & Pier for just under $8K. I had them quote with and without decking. In the end, I built the cedar deck sections myself to keep cost down. My labor is free.

CHD&P, Watermark, and Raise-a-Dock all provide a good product, installed well. The one to pick is a matter of cost, delivery/installation schedule, and any permitting required. Depending on circumstances, permit may not be required.
