And, here's another use for the foam swimmers' noodle …… a fishing rod foam floatie or pfd. Dropping your fishing rod into the lake can mean bye bye fishing rod, and is probably a lot more likely to happen when fishing from a kayak, or stand up paddle board.

Take a 10" section of foam noodle, slice it half way through to the center hole horizontally, and fit it around the fishing rod handle, reel, rod area, or something(?) and:idea: bingo …… you got yo-self a sink proof, fishing rod!
