Dirty Block
Does anyone know of a place that will steam clean my inboard?

I think most marinas can pressure wash, and there used to be a product called "Gunk" that you brushed on and hosed off. If you need this type of cleaning Of cleansing,(Unusual to me), please do it far far from the lake. If you're on a trailer, try a place like Diamond Shine in Gilford. As so often happens, we don't have a geographic clue for where you are.

It really should never get filthy enough to need steam cleaning unless there's something very wrong. Have you addressed the source of the filth?

Mean Green
if you go to Lowes/Walmart or somewhere that sells:
Mean Green https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mean-Gree...fl-oz/19853412 spray it on and hit it with a strong hose spray virtually no scrubbing here is a link to their website: http://www.meangreendegreaser.com/ I sprayed it on jetski engine (had a crack in oil fill tank and engine got messy) let sit washed it off and just hit it one more time and washed off for good measure - DID NOT have to use the one with Bleach, and yes did it away from the lake but the one I used: Mean Green Super Strength does not contain any acid, bleach, or ammonia, and are made with biodegradable cleaning agents. All Mean Green bottles are recyclable. (from their FAQs page) |

Mean Green sounds good.
My favorite degreaser is "Super Clean" which I discovered in California and it has become my standby for everything. Automobile wheels, cleaning grout and shower doors (using a nail brush) and all other hard to clean chores. Found at auto supply stores and most hardware stores. Super Clean Multipurpose Cleaner Degreaser | SuperClean Brands https://www.superclean.com I an a retired workaholic and continuing aquaholic. |
