Anyone have a weather station?

I am looking at buying a Vantage Vue weathe station. Eventually I would like to set it up so I can see if from any location and have the data uploaded.

Does any have any experience with decent weather stations?

I want to get one as well. In the meantime, here is mine: http://www.blackcatnh.com/weather/

Davis Wireless

We've got the Davis Wireless Vantage Pro2 and the Weatherlink software and have been using it for about 5 years now. The only problem we've had was a lightning strike that hit a power pole about 200 ft. from the station. Fried the weather vane, but everything else still worked.

Our data is displayed in to places online (that I know of). There's this link:

and a coworker discovered that the University of Utah was also using the data at their MesoWest website:

Very cool. I think this is finally going to be the year I splurge.

Davis Wireless Vantage Pro 2

I also have the Davis Wireless Vantage Pro 2, but without the weather link software, so I don't track it on line. I've had it for about two years, and only had minor maintenance issues (anemometer frozen by icy rain, pine needles in rain sensor). It's first rate and reasonably affordable. Highly recommended.

I'll have to look at the weather link software...
