Just want to give a plug to a place that is rarely mentioned here. Jon's Roastbeef & Deli on Union Ave in Laconia.

I have frequented this place for a long time and it always serves excellent food. Their deli sandwiches are always stuffed full with fresh meats and other toppings of your choice. They also have many homemade soups, salads, and deserts items that are excellent!!

The ladies that work their are always pleasant and do a great job at serving their patrons!

They have been around for a long time and if you haven't tried them, your missing out!

Love Jon's never had a bad meal there and the service is fast and extremely nice even when they are swamped.

I order the same thing every time - large roast beef, creamy horseradish, cheddar cheese and onions. Toasted. I consider it a treat.

I am with Major!!

They are certainly the best around here. That being said, I grew up in East Boston and I am kind of spoiled by having always gone to Kelley's Roast Beef in Revere. ;)
