New weather station
 

I love having a weather station at our property on the lake. Helps us feel like we are there when we are not.

This is the weather data uploaded to weather underground (Real data not collected until 1PM today). Oh and no, it didn't rain today, I triggered the haptic sensor fiddling around with it (see below).

This weather station is very unique. It does Wind Speed and Direction with no moving parts (uses sonar). And it does rain detection with no "bucket" (uses a haptic sensor).

If you are curious it's called a Tempest by Weatherflow, it does Wind Speed, Wind Direction, UV, Light, Pressure, Humidity and Temp. Completely Solar powered. $300.00

We also have webcams to help us feel there when not (sorry, not public).

Wow, didn't expect the weather station to get so much exercise the first full day.

Worked great.

The rain should help the lakes recover a good bit.

I bet Newfound will be up at least 6 inches over the next couple days.

BTW, there are a dozen or more of these weather stations around Winni/Squam etc.

Wow Pemi River Plymouth went from just under 2ft to 11.84 ft from yesterday’s rain. 13ft is considered flood stage.

Can you let us know where you are getting this data? I'd appreciate seeing this over time too.

My wife saw it posted by someone on Facebook.
