Mount Washington Evening Cruise

Just wanted to comment on the cruise we took this evening on the Mount Washington. I’m usually cruisin the lake on the “lakin’ya jealous”. It’s probably been 30 years since I last cruised on the Mount Washington but I got to tell you. What an awesome time. The buffet was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Also stopped by the Angry Hog but they were closed. I was so dying to try the “Holy Hand Grenade”. Has anyone tried that? OMG.

Glad to hear. Never been on the mount at night but going 8/18 for a reunion.

Wish they would do a few evening cruises out of Wolfeboro. There is a whole side of the lake here that doesn't want to drive 50 minutes to leave out of the Weirs, but then I guess there are 4x the number of people on that side of the lake :)

Neglected

The Mount, in my opinion, is neglected in the "restaurant" threads. Food and service are good, absolutely can'r beat the ambiance and it is a fair price. Sometimes music or a theme party. With a large enough group (65?) you can have a private lounge.

For absolute top of the line experience on the Mount book a Full Moon dinner cruise. If the weatherman is good to you it will be something to remember forever...

Last year we were on the Full Moon Dinner Cruise and were treated to this as we returned to the Weirs. The full moon was perfectly placed next to the fireworks:

Absolutely agree! We'd do evening cruises alot more often if it would leave from Wolfboro.

Evening cruises out of Wolfeboro or Alton have happened in the past, but it has not been proven viable because of the cost to profit ratio. They do have a few that leave from Meredith, but that doesn’t help much when you’re coming from Wolfeboro.

Was on the Mount last Saturday for high school reunion. The boat was absolutely packed. There was at least one wedding party, maybe two, some other large group plus us. Everyone had a good time. The food was pretty meh. Some things don't do well being held in steam trays.

But would go again. Was my first night time excursion.
