Lakes Region Newspapers

Please choose one newspaper you read the most.

Shedwannabe 02-18-2010 11:58 AM

Why just these three? Why not some of the local town papers? Why are you asking what we read? To what use are the results of this "poll" being put?

Merrymeeting 02-18-2010 02:02 PM

None of the above should be an option, in addtion to adding weeklies.

mets3007 02-18-2010 02:07 PM

I read the Daily Sun and Citizen online since I live in NY but when I go to NH I just read the Daily Sun.

Why do you want to know why the question is being asked? Are you reading something you shouldn't be reading? Why do you want to know what is being done with the results? Do you have something to hide?:laugh::laugh:

www.citizen.com
www.laconiadailysun.com

The Union Leader makes a good drop cloth for painting as long as it gets doubled up. Otherwise, it's a useless rag!

There's Only One Lakes Region Newspaper

Greetings All,

Come on, doesn't everybody read the paper of record for the lakes region? I am, of course, speaking of the Grunt! (that's the Granite State News for all you "flatlanders"!) Jeesh, not even in the choices!

I thought that too lucky! Must be NHboat 70 lives on "that walmart side of the lake" and doesn't know about the "Grunter"!

Why do the poll results add up to 115%?

Right now it says Citizen 51%, Concord Monitor 2%, Daily Sun 62%....

The answers are not mutually exclusive, so you can have more than one favorite, that would be my guess, its dividing by the number of people voting, not by the total number of votes. :)

Maybe, "just because"

Could be just for fun, to see what people read...looks like you can add what you want, too.

SIKSUKR 02-22-2010 10:25 AM

It's down to 113% now.

Local news updates

We receive the Meredith News at home, although I must confess that I get daily updates from the winni forum!

Three newspapers for a reason

I was just curious to know which of those three newspapers people read...Anything from the Salmon Press is a weekly and the ones I'm interested in are the dailies and the ones which actually compete with each other in town. This is just out of curiosity, these results won't be used for anything
