Interest level in Garmin GPS Course???

A friend had suggested to me a while back that I teach hands-on courses for using GPS handhelds. I went on-line looking for similar courses and didn't find any, which would either seem an opportunity or would be an indication there's no demand for it. I'm only familiar with Garmins, so anything I did would be focused there.

I can easily create a course, especially given my hard core GPS use for hiking, ATVing, boating, and snowmobiling, getting lost (on purpose) and "unlost" (also on purpose). I've done plenty enough training in other subjects that writing a curriculum to teach classes and take them outdoors would be no trouble. Issue for me is whether or not there's an interest.

I'd like some thoughts and input on what others think.

Can you describe a little more what the course would cover?

I've always felt I knew how to use my GPS pretty well. I turn it on, it shows me where I am. I can scroll around if I want, I can enter a destination point, and I can even enter an intermediate destination point if I want.

I'm sure there are some features I'm not using, but I've never felt like I needed "GPS Training".

I don't mean to knock your course, it might very well be that I don't know what I don't know.

GPS Course

I've had to show people how to use even the basic features, so a course would cover setting up the GPS (customizing), setting waypoints and edit options, planning and following a course, using and managing tracks, setting up profiles for different activities, etc.
