Weed killer for use on shore?
 
Is there a weed killer that can be legally and safely used on shoreline weeds on winnipesaukee?

Strictly speaking you are not allowed to add any chemicals to the lake. I don't know if vinegar counts but that recipe includes soap and salt, and you may not "legally" introduce them into the lake.

You can kill weeds or brush my cutting them back and covering with something that will keep them from getting light. Black plastic trash bags will do.

Great question Steven--if by shoreline, you mean the actual shoreline, then it is not allowed to remove the weeds, they are performing a vital function to protect the lake. Here's a link to the DES fact sheet:
