If you asked for a better day, I'm not sure what would change. A gorgeous day on The Lake...At least, as of 1:00 pm

I'm envious - and stuck inside looking out, wishing I was out on the water!

I'm stuck looking at a web cam. UGH!!!!

It's looking like another great weekend. I hope it's as nice as last weekend, Sunny and no wind.

Weather like it's going to be great, sunny and mid 70's.
Hoping the wind cooperates, but it will be from the NE 8-12 mph,, so should be fairly decent !

Can you continue that from Monday through Friday?

Arrived earlier today. Wonderful and we just saw the most fantastic sunset one could imagine.

I really sympathize with those who are looking at homes which are no longer etc.


I am a retired workaholic and continuing aquaholic.

You can all thank me for the beautiful weather. I winterized the boat last weekend. :(

Great weekend coming up! If only the Patriots game was an evening game. It will be a tough decision at 1PM on Sunday!

But then again, there is always Monday or Tuesday (Sorry to rub it in...........Really sorry) :)

I always keep mine in until right after Columbus weekend. One of my favorite weekends on the lake :D

I was out yesterday too -- incredible end of day as the breezes died out. I came back in to Wolfeboro at 5pm or so, and I was the only boat running.

Late Summer
 

We'll be up Tuesday. Some of the best boating of the season can certainly be in September. Can't wait!

In the last ten days, look at the chart, the surface water temperature has gone up from about-67 to about-70. Could maybe be time, again, to lose the shorty wet suit for swimming, sailing, paddle boarding!

Fall began today, Friday, September 22, at 4:02-pm, the autumn equinox, when the sun is directly over the equator at noon......or something .......how does that work!

I think we can all agree these past two weekends are about as good as it gets for us weekenders, hot, calm waters, and plenty of sun. I pulled the boat Sunday afternoon so there's more room on the water for everyone else .;) Started winterizing it this morning.
I still have a Jet Ski I can put in if, by chance, we get some more summer weather.

"Bermuda Triangle" = Thomas Point...
 

:) My sailboat does well in light breezes, so Friday I was out in the Bermuda Triangle, and "felt a change in the Force". :confused:

The rush got louder and louder, and thought I was being buzzed by an aircraft. 'Looked up, and realized the sound was directly behind me—an all-white ocean-racer, red stripes—at top speed. :eek2: On his way to the Barber Pole, he passed within 50-feet. :eek:

Only a few minutes later, a NHMP boat patrolled the Bermuda Triangle area very actively for half an hour. (And it wasn't me that called them).

Best morning of the entire season this morning. Over to Wolfeboro for breakfast and back. So smooth, calm and quiet. It was AMAZING.

It was a little foggy at 7 AM today but it looks like another great day! Hope you can be here! (Not everyone, it is nice without many boat wakes!)

Wow!!!! Great picture, awesome weather. I hope it holds out until next weekend I would like to take the boat out a few more times before it goes to sleep for the winter :(

Now that I'm back in Mass at work and I hear it's going to be colder this weekend I'm beginning not to like this thread.:rolleye1:

I am in the Netherlands this week. It is quit nice here, in the 60's. I am certainly missing the lake though. I am a retired now so all I do now is boat and float. Everyone back home is doing both and telling me that I am missing the best boating of the year. I am glad I will be back Saturday night! Hopefully Sunday will be a great boating day.
