Tried the Bob House for dinner tonight and it was closed! Nothing on the website about closing for a certain time. Anyone know what's up? I hope they didn't go out of business like the few other casualties this fall. It would seem hard to believe, always had a good meal there with reasonable prices.

Closed for Thanksgiving vacation- they will be back soon!

There was a sign out front that said they were closing for vacation.

We talked to the staff too about where they were going on trips etc... and still we drove there Friday night. Habit I guess.

It made us take a trip to Canoe which we thoroughly enjoyed. :)

Thread title change
 

May I suggest a thread title change so that if someone glances at the title they don't freak out, kind of like I just did :)

Yes just freaked out there a little bit...

you should change the question mark to " for vacation", or better yet delete the whole thread since it was a misunderstanding

It wasn’t a misunderstanding. The person went there for dinner and it was closed and they asked if anybody knew why. Simple as that.

I agree it wasn’t misunderstanding but at the same time the title is still a little misleading. It’s a great restaurant i would hate to see them lose business from this thread.

I'm looking forward to visiting the Bob House Saturday night. I'm glad the staff can get a little break.

Went to Bob House last Saturday. Very good burger and wings. I have been impressed the handful of times I have gone.
I have only eaten in the bar area.
They could use a little work on their beer selection.

We have had several good dinners there. Fish and Chip last Saturday night was excellent and the Nachos are great as well.

LOVE The Bob House. Visited there last week with my father-daughter group and had a great experience.
