YouTube link failure
 

Can anyone help me? Any live video links sent via Winni Forum will not open for me. All I get is a black screen. Can view "photo" only by moving the cursor at bottom of viewing screen. Thanking you all in advance.

First, can you see a video directly on Youtube? Can you see the video on this page?:

Next, try a different browser. If you use Chrome try Safari (Mac) or Internet Explorer (PC). If you use Internet Explorer try Firefox. If it works in one browser not the other there is something in the malfunctioning browser that is blocking the Youtube feed.

Hopefully this will help isolate the problem.

I can see a video directly on YT. I can see the video attachment you sent. I cannot see Live Video at Flightcraft. I cannot see this video attachment.

Thanks Webmaster for working with me, my kids don't even go this far, they gave up!:) I tried opening the Flightcraft link you sent and the screen is black. Cannot view anything. Thanks

I may not be able to help you either. If that link is not opening up then you have a problem using Youtube, not this site.

If ALL the browsers you tried didn't work then I would suspect that a security program on your computer or firewall may be blocking it. Without seeing your computer that's just a guess.

I Googled "can't view youtube videos" and found lots of references to your kind of problem and the black screen. That would be a good place to start.

Frustrating
 

If I click on the YouTube Channel thumbnail at the top of the page, nothing works. I even tried "open in incognito window" and still nothing. I can view YouTube from my Google Page by clicking on YouTube thumbnail and watch movies. I just can't get any videos when I am on the Forum or attachments sent to my e-mail:(

Does right click on the link, "open with" do anything for you?

Next, instead of clicking a video link, what happens if you open a new tab and copy/ paste the link into the browser window?

Also, can you confirm which browser(s) you are using?


Based on what's been stated so far, it sounds to me like a video player needs to be updated.
