MUSIC in MEREDITH EVERY FRIDAY

Picturesque Hesky Park at the town docks on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee will be the site of a free concert every Friday night from June 18th thru September 3rd. Concerts will be open mic format featuring local performers and will be hosted by Kitty and Kevin Boyle. Music will begin at 6PM and continue until every performer has completed a set of 2 songs.
Kitty Boyle said “ Live music is always popular and this is the best location in the Lakes Region. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy these excellent performers. In addition to musicians we welcome other entertainers such as poets, story tellers and comedians to participate.”
Performers are asked to sign in at the bandstand next to the Meredith town docks between 5:30 and 6.

Might be tough to hear the music tomorrow night with all the bikes going by. Probably should have waited another week to start.

Music in Wolfeboro
 

The Saturday night FREE concerts in Wolfeboro will resume Saturday, July 3, at 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, in the bandstand at Cate Park on the waterfront in Wolfeboro. These concerts are free, in that there is no admission charge, however, there is an opportunity to donate to their fund designed to help with the cost of the musicians.

This summer there will be 10 concerts, one each Saturday, ending on Saturday, September 4. Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy the evening.

Great first concert
 

We had a great first open Mic last night. There were 15 performers and a nice variety off music. I'm always amazed at how many talented people we have in this area. The audience varied from about 20 to 50 or so.

Hope to see everyone on Friday the 25th and every Friday this summer.

Wolfeboro music
 

We were unable to open the link for the Wolfeboro concerts, so we drove down there today. Evidently, there will be concerts at Cate Park on Wed. and Sat. Evenings 7-9. Should be fun….we have enjoyed them in the past…and lovely venue, overlooking the lake. Fun for all generations. Bring a few bucks to throw in the donation bucket at intermission. See you there!

Open Mike Friday Meredith
 

We are having our second open mic concert this Friday June 25th at 6PM at Hesky Park, next to the town docks in Meredith. The music will start at 6PM and continue until every performer has played at least 2 songs.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy these talented local performers in a wonderful lakeside setting. There is no charge. There is lots of parking at the town docks and the parking lot across the Rt 3 & 25 intersection.

Performer sign-up is from 5:30 to 6

Can’t make it tomorrow but we intend to check this out in the future. Sounds like a lovely evening.

Great Show Friday
 

We had a great show last Friday. There were 10 performers and an audience that varied from about 25 to 50+ as people wandered thru the park and some stopped to listen for a while.

We're expecting a great concert this Friday beginning at 6. All are welcome and there is no charge. Performers can sign up between 5:30 and 6. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and a picnic.

July 2nd Concert Cancelled
 

Unfortunately the rain & cold temps necessitate cancellation of the open mic for Friday July 2nd.

We will resume on Friday July 9th and every Friday thereafter thru Sept 3rd. Music will start at 6 and performer's sign ups are from 5:30 to 6

Open Mic Friday July 16th
 

Weather forecast is for bright sunshine and 81 degrees this afternoon so the music will begin at 6PM. It is next to the town docks in Meredith: plenty of parking. Performer's sign up is from 5:30 to 6.

We have had very talented performers in these concerts so far and expect a great turnout tonite.

Please bring a lawn chair, snack or beverage and join us-- there is no charge and you can come and go as you wish.
