Bridge project above Meredith lights

Does anyone know how long the bridge repair project on route 3 above (south) of the lights at Meredith will take? I would hope they plan to finish before the busy season. The wait at the temporary lights for the one open lane has been just a couple of minutes the few times I have gone through, midweek, but, gee, that whole area backs up badly at peak times without road closures.

They are one week into a 8 week completion schedule. But, many of these road projects have gone over due to unexpected findings

Lets hope the 8 week schedule holds.... if not that will be an area of mass congestion...

Not sure why there are signs on 93 directing people to use exit 24 due to bridge work. Plenty of ways to get into Meredith without going over the bridge

did this not start on March 23rd, cause they uwould be three weeks in according to the proposal? if last week was week 1 brings right to weekend before memorial day

Technically it did start on the 23rd, recent history of bridge repair in the area tells us this will go past Memorial Day. The weather has been terrific for such a project so let’s all cheer for its completion before the season begins
