Moultonborough Bay fly-over

Is it safe to assume the two large (tankers?) aircraft which came down Moultonborough Bay from the north, at about 4PM, flying at about 300', headed south toward Mt. Major, were the Air National Guard screwing around?

Impressive, but only after the initial "what the hell are they doing" thought.

I think I saw them over Manchester about 3:45.....

I was in a conference room at NH DOT all afternoon, across from the National Guard Airport in Concord, and watched a couple of large planes land around then so I would assume they were the same ones!

C-130's..... not tankers! But very cool aircraft! They sometimes practice short field take-off & landings at Laconia Airport.

Well... C-130s are often used as tankers in the KC-130 version.

Everyone is always so "Surprised" when they see military aircraft over the lake. There is a MOA (Military Operating Area) just North of the lake...:D

I once saw a pair of F-15's from Barnes fly over our house on BCI
