Oh, what a beautiful day
 

When I was much younger, I formed a mental picture of a perfect weather day at the lake. There are always "good" days, but rarely does a day measure up to the visualized DAY at the lake.

Today, June 30th, the perfect weather has revealed itself. And . . . the rest of the weekend is slated to be similar to today (save maybe a thunderstorm tomorrow).

My mental picture has been reinforced. I feel blessed. :)

Arriving around noon tomorrow. Can't wait! The 10 day forecast says perfect weather the whole time!

Got up this afternoon and just got back from a cruise. The neighbor's boat isn't working and I walked over and asked if they wanted to go for a cruise. I noticed she was just lighting the grill..... " oh... Yes, sure, dinner can wait" :)

Got here just in time to enjoy the beautiful sunset... Wow what a place, I'm just not complete until I'm at the Lake. Happy 4th of July weekend, this is a great place and a great country. We're so fortunate to be able to experience this!

We took the pups for an early morning cruise around Bear Island. Perfectly calm and serene outing. A great time to be out on our fantastic lake. 🐻
