Strange phenomenon

Can anyone explain the fireball over Shep Brown's boat Basin at approximately the 40 second mark in this 24 hour timelapse from Bear Island? There is another larger one in the top right corner which I initially thought to be the moon but the moon phase is not that full for January 4. Strange.

It's Venus

You are seeing Venus and the moon. In early January of this year, the moon and Venus are close together in the sky, just after dark (see link below). Though the first quarter moon isn't achieved until Jan 5 (meaning it's less than "half lit" in video), the webcam is clearly sensitive in low light and shows the dimmer celestial body well, while overexposing the brighter moon (and thereby losing some of the shape).
I also grabbed a screen capture from the Jan 2 video; the two light balls in the upper right are Venus and the moon, with the latter reflecting off the water.

This when the Moon is in the 7th house and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Then peace will guide the planet.
