Has anyone heard from fatlazyless? It's been almost a month since he's posted, which is unlike him.

I sent a PM a few weeks ago. No response.

I hope it's just extra secret probation and not something more serious.

FLL is not on probation by me or restricted in any way. However, I still may be the cause of his absence.

Although I've received a lot of complaints about some on his posts, I've always welcomed and defended his participation. In over 5500 posts by him I've rarely moderated anything, even when the posts were inappropriate for the topics being discussed. I've met Walter several times and have even been at his house in Meredith.

In April he posted something in a thread that I thought was completely irrelevant and inappropriate to the thread. I removed the post hoping to send a message to tone it down a bit. He hasn't logged in since then. I've done that a few times before in the 15 years+ he has been a member. He never seemed to have a problem with those little slaps on the wrist but this time he apparently couldn't tolerate it. I'm hope I'm wrong and he's just off on a nice vacation somewhere. :coolsm:

Don, sometimes you need to do what you need to do, and I hope that FLL feels the same way... I have been censored once or twice myself and never took it personal... I am grateful that you take the time to keep this a nice friendly forum...I guess I am a lot like Walter, because I always see the sense of humor in his posts.

I have nothing against the guy personally and I hope he's alright but I won't miss his long nonsense posts.

I hope he's ok too. Sometimes his posts are long and boring and I admit I skim through those. As far as getting upset with him, he is usually trying to be funny (I think) so we all need lighten up and laugh or just ignore him. I really don't understand why people take forums so seriously. Read what you like and forget the rest. Attacking somebody or being mean is a different story but I have never seen him do that.

I tend to think that you haven't offended him, If you did his skin has gotten much thinner than before. I hope that he is just distracted by a big sale at Walmart or something, or even better, that he discovered he could get an employee discount at Walmart by working part time and that is where he is spending his spare time to save on cheap stuff.

I definitely don't agree with the guy's politics, but he certainly knows how to stir it up and I have to admire that. I hope he is ok.

I just heard from FLL. He was just unable to log in. He should be back soon...:coolsm:

Close. He used to use WebTV. Maybe he still does. He'll have to confirm. ;)

Good to here he is ok. We have had some disagreements in the past but in the grand scheme of things these spats are trivial.

Maybe a little lazy but certainly not fat. Love the 80's boombox which I'm sure he bought from Goodwill or Salvation Army :laugh:.

For six (?) weeks nobody paid much attention. Now, we get some info from the webmaster, and the follow on is full blast volume. It will take FLL another 5501 posts to respond. This all gives new meaning to the title "poster child".

The news that all is well means he will be annoying us again real soon. In all seriousness, I'm glad he wasn't missing because of health reasons.
