Does anyone have a picture of the old Sears store in Gilford?

Do you know where it was located?

In the plaza where Patrick's is.

the original sears catalog store was in the plaza where lowes is now. Osco, Star Market, Grants (later Kmart), Sears and a couple other small stores.

In the section where the liquor store is now or the other building?

I remember it where the liquor store or the small market was.

Correct. The original Sears catalog store was next to the Jackson Star Market, where K-Mart used to be. Now there is a Hanniford's and Lowe's in that space. When K-Mart was demolished, Sears moved to a smaller space in Patrick's strip mall.

If memory serves me. These were franchise stores. There was one in Plymouth/Rumney near the circle.

There was one in Wolfeboro, too.

Yes! I recall buying “something” from that store…can’t recall what though! Maybe a snowblower or a grill? 😊
