What is the best website, weather app for finding out boating conditions on the lake?

A lot of people, myself included, use MyRadar.

“Dark Sky” gives very specific information for your exact location and seems quite accurate for real time conditions.

It really depends on your exact needs. It’s a freebie.

Accuweather App and/or My Radar

We compare both, then average them

I second this. Dark sky can give you weather information for a specific address and its very accurate, having compared it to a couple weather stations at different residences around the lake the info is almost identical if not identical.

I use the Windy app for wind forecasts which is a crapshoot like every other wind app i've tried.

I now have Weather Underground, Dark Sky, My Radar, and The Weather Channel apps on my phone.

Dark Sky looks real clean, so I've added the widget to my home screen to see if I like it better than my current widget.

The Weather Channel radar does short-term future radar for free, longer for "premium." Dark Sky does future only for premium, but it's cheap—$16 for 3 years, as opposed to TWC's $30/year.

My Radar is really good for momentary radar, but there have been quite a few times that storms broke up, etc. which may make future a good thing. My friend used TWC yesterday to plan when to move furniture, and it was spot on (within a few minutes).

Any thoughts on the future radar option on these or other apps? Anyone have premium Dark Sky? I'm not up for TWC's $30/year but would be ok with DS's $5 or so.
