Some pics from the TUG
Not the greatest but here are some pics I took last Thursday. It's amazing how fast the water in the lake absorbs the strobe compared to the ocean.http://www.scubaboard.com/gallery/sh...-small/cat/500

Pics from the Tug
Andy, Pics wouldn't load or open???? How was the dive? Still haven't dove that one yet either.
Thanks, Jim |
Ya I can't get them to upload to this site, you can view them on ScubaBoard under the same handle as I have here. As for the dive, it was great. The bottom is very silty there so you need to be extra careful not to disturb the bottom or any of the sediment on the wreck or the viz will go down to almost nothing. like many other wrecks in the lake if you don't have near perfect fin technique and buoyancy control Winni will let you know about it in a hurry;).

No descriptions?! I love seeming pictures like this, but hunting them down, not so much. :rolleye2: |
There was a nice video of the tug posted the year it was found. Thing has taken a beating since then.

Thanks Grant. This is exactly why I won't release most of the LatLons of most what I find.

When was it discovered? I thought it was found just last year. Has the wheelhouse been destroyed by, how should I say it, "inexperienced" divers flailing around in it? Or have people been taking objects from the wreck? I guess it's time to get serious about purchasing my own gear to find wrecks so I can dive on the good stuff:(. It's a shame people cant just look and not touch.
