Buoy off Rattlesnake??

Just noticed from a distance what appears to be a new red top off the finger on Rattlesnake?? Something new??

Cruised by that this AM. Does not look like an official marker. Looks more like the owners put a field marker out at the point. I have seen many boats cut that corner very close to the shore before.

being a little clearer would help identify where your talking about ----- map pic would be ideal.

We saw that yesterday. It is on the Sleeper/Treasure Island side of Rattlesnake. I forget exactly where. Maybe just below where the alligator used to be?

Pretty good, but could you narrow it down a little more? 😨😉👍

UP, you must remember where they had the alligator on the (kind of point) halfway down the island on the Alton side? That is where it is. They have a log cabin. There is a smaller cabin by the dock. That's where it is.

Sorry tis, you missed it. The lat/lon coordinates out to 14 places right of the decimal point is pretty accurate. If I got there by those coordinates, I probably could only get closer by "Hey Up, move an inch to your right! " :D: :D

I DID realize you were kidding. I posted that but somehow it didn't post. I laughed at your reply. Those numbers would mean nothing to me so I told you where it was just in case you really did want to know.

Converted to Google map from the provided lat/long:

Dave

Eight digits after the decimal point is about the thickness of a dime.
