Propane prices
Just curious what others are paying for propane this winter. I figured with oil prices low and going lower, propane would go down (although not in lock step).
I just paid $1.60/gallon and use about 1,000 gallons over the course of a year. Anyone doing better on price? In the fall, it was done to 1.54/gallon. |
I use between 5 and 6 hundred gallons and am paying $ 2.20 a gallon.

We locked in last Fall at $1.48

Heating Prices
Not sure about propane, but I just got 100 gals of kerosene in Plymouth from Irving at $1.48. The Hooksett property received 150 gals of #2 for $1.84. Lowest prices I've seen in a decade!
Natural gas in Laconia is currently $1.20 @ unit. |

Seems like #2 oil is still dropping. Neighbor mentioned $1.64 from a Manchester independent. |

I got a quote from Eastern for $3.95 at my camp--anyone know why the difference?!

Annual Usage
If camp is only used in milder months the price is based on projected annual usage. The less you use the higher per gallon the price.
