That's another thing I like about Trump, he is forcing liberals to show their "true colors" with their Trump derangement syndrome. Their behavior is beyond embarrassing. Trump is working on changing the culture now, (back to the way our founding fathers intended) and he is in for the fight of his life, and I think he is loving it!! You know he loves to fight, this is what he lives for!!!

I just want a leader with some class. Someone that won't shock my kids and grand kids when he speaks.
I don't think the president of our great nation should act like a child. I think he could still do a good job without all the trash talk. But that's the culture that he is fostering and it's sad to see.

fatlazyless 09-17-2018 12:13 PM

Let me tell you something here ....... rich or poor ...... you is better off rich!

If you want socialism, then go move to Cuba ........ adios amigo!

Down in Cuba, there's no Walmart with 13.5' Sea Dolphin Bali kayaks in medium blue, family kayaks that hold 500-lbs or two adults, two kids, and a basset hound, normally $495 ...... reduced to $250 .... two left in stock at the Plymouth Walmart. Down in Cuba there's no kayaks like this ....... all you can get in socialist Cuba is an old dead tree and you get to make it into a hollowed out canoe that maybe looks like a '57 Chevy Bel-Air if you are good ....... adios amigo!

Fidel and his brother Raul have very nice kayaks (and Fidel is dead), but for everyone else ...... all they get is a dead tree trunk.

If you save $250 on a $500 kayak, then paying for a ten dollar annual kayak sticker is not so much ...... plus it makes you feel like you own a small piece of the lake ...... the piece of the lake that you are paddling ..... and you own it, temporarily!

Focus on the policies. Politicians have disappointed us with their behavior forever. Rhetoric between parties is nothing new. I just read a book about General US Grant. President Andrew Johnson's behavior was unbelievable, only matched by the Radical Republicans. Read letters between Adams and Jefferson, who each called into question the other's manhood.

I wonder if your kids and grandkids are offended by the actions of Presidents Roosevelt (with Mrs. Simpson), Kennedy (with Fiddle and Faddle), and Clinton (with the fat intern). So what, Trump says some outrageous things. His actions speak louder than his words. He's not a politician, which is a good thing. If you like his policies, that should be good enough. Also, Democrats have hardly covered themselves in glory. I wonder if they are as concerned about the credible allegations against Representative Keith Ellison as they are with the half-baked allegations against Judge Kavanagh. I know the answer to this question. ;)

Biggd 09-17-2018 05:10 PM

Firstly, I thought it was kind of funny. Secondly, of all the options, it was in the best taste. After all, her name is synonymous with an act that Clinton defined as not being a sexual act.

So you would rather have a leader with class that is driving the country towards socialism, (Obama, or any other Democrat), than a leader that talks more like the electorate that voted him in, and whose policies has the best economy this country has seen in years...?? Not to mention his foreign policies. How "shocked" would your kids be if they lost their freedom to socialism??? Yup, that makes about as much sense as affirmative action, another STUPID Democrat policy!!! The culture has been going down the tubes looooong before Trump got elected. Nice try. I blame the culture on Hollywood, the public school system, main stream media, and political correctness. All Democrat controlled. Do you see the pattern here...??

NOTHING, since Trump ran for, and got elected president. Something would of leaked if Mueller had anything. It doesn't matter anyways. This entire investigation was started on fraudulent premises, so anything they find will be for not since they went about business illegally. There is a "thing" called the Bill of Rights that we citizens are entitled to, and if law enforcement agencies get caught infringing on those rights, or don't cross their T's and dot their I's, charges are dropped. Even when they're made up out of thin air!! There will be no charges. A sitting President cannot be indicted. Our founding fathers were absolutely brilliant. It's almost as if they knew back then that the Democrat party would eventually go rouge with corruption!! I really don't think you realize what is going on here. You should try watching something other than cnn, all it does is dumb down it's viewer(s) with fake news. Luckily it's not many, but one is too much!!

The hate is only coming from one side... and it's never ending. It's what they do since they can't debate the issues. They do it to EVERY Republican president. Think about it. Since I have been around, it has been Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Bush, and now Trump. They did it to McCain when he was running for president, but all of a sudden (lately) they loved him because he hated Trump. Hypocrites. They will only stop when they are in power, (God forbid). That's what it is all about to them, POWER, even at the expense of the country, they don't care about the country, all they care about is POWER. That's why liberalism is a mental disorder. The Mueller investigation will come up with NOTHING it was supposedly intended for: Russian collusion, (which isn't even a crime!!). I would bet my life on it.

So true!!!!! Remember when Chris Wallace asked Trump (at one of the debates) if he would accept the results of the election if he lost, and Trump wouldn't definitively say yes at that precise moment, and he got hammered by the media for days... He said he would want a chance to make sure everything was on the up and up before he accepted it. To bad he (Chris Wallace) didn't ask Hillary, (probably by design...).

fatlazyless 09-18-2018 07:49 AM

Starting on April 15, 2019, paying the federal 2018 personal federal income tax will include a ten thousand dollar limit on your state property tax deduction from your federal income tax. So, if you pay $30,000/year property tax on a Lake Winnipesaukee mcmansion, you will now have a new $20,000 net cash pay-out in federal tax.

How does that feel? This is just so unfair ...... boo-hoo ..... and could make the difference for not buying a new motor boat. Gee wiz ..... our income tax is going up, so no new boat this year ..... maybe just a new Sun Dolfin Bali 13.5' family kayak for the low, low, low price of ...... don't a u-know ....only $250 .... at u-know where ...... the Plymouth Walmart!

With the new tariff increases on consumer goods made in China, will this $250 price seem like a steal of a deal, come next year? It is a steal of a deal and the Plymouth Walmart has two big blue kayaks left, as of yesterday. So, go beat the Trump China tariff increase on consumer goods and buy it soon.

Yes, they did receive a free pass. Look back on the confirmations of Ginsberg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan. All sailed through with moderate to strong Republican support. You know why, it was the right thing to do. They were qualified candidates who deserved to be treated in a respectful manner. Republicans did not pull the stunts being pulled by Democrats. Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, and now Kavanaugh, each a dog fight. Good men being maligned for political gain. Cal Coon said it accurately, the hate comes from one side only.

Look at how an honorable man like Mitt Romney was treated. He had a binder of qualified women to fill important positions and was crucified by the press. Nothing nefarious. If only he had a little of Trump in him, and fought back, he may have been President.

What backlash did Obama receive for lying to us? (Bengasi; "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance.") Clinton lied under oath and was never convicted by the Senate. Free passes to both.

The tone and behavior is being set by liberals. Look at how Occupy Wall Street and BLM protestors behave versus Tea Party protestors. How the left takes the law into their own hands and tears down statues instead of going through the process in a democratic way. The examples are endless.

I love that Trump fights back. He doesn't let one slight go unnoticed.

fatlazyless 09-18-2018 09:24 AM

At age-72, Donald Trump is too danged old and DEFICIENT ...... an old time, crime boss ..... the crime boss in chief .... a mafia guy character from a movie ..... hope to see him in handcuffs and an orange, prison jump suit with a large 'P' on the back .... for money laundering scheme ..... for colluding to sell expensive Trump condos to Russia organized crime associates ..... in Russia, organized crime is the government ..... and Putin has him over a barrel ....

Between his sleeping late, going to bed early, writing tweets, watching Fox-TV, flying to golf, and flying to campaign events, how much time does he actually spend in the Oval Office now that Hope Hicks is no longer there?

USA needs Hope Hicks back in the Oval Office ...... she was age-28 and a very smart hottie ....... and Donald must be missing her ....... where is the Hope?

Definition of deficient: not having enough of a specified ingredient or quality ..... so what is he missing? ...... how's about dishonesty ......and he does not like dogs ...... which actually says a lot ....

You know there's a big, big difference between Donald Trump, candidate from the www.wwe.com, and Mitt Romney, candidate from the www.gop.com/platform ……. why, just look at their two hair-dos …… is totally different. One is real, and one is fake.

They start them young believing that everyone is on an equal playing field, that there are no winners or losers (just participants which are worthy of a trophy) and squelch any concept that accomplishment is a good thing. Just be a useless victim and demand what you want. Don't need to work for it, no no, just wait for the nanny state to re-distribute it to you.

The sad thing is liberals while pontificating how they care so much about the poor, downtrodden, minorities and so on purposely exploit them for their own benefit and power. What better way to ensure total control over the masses than to get them addicted to government and what they call "free stuff".

While it may seem like all is lost, there has been an upswell of people who have extracted their kids out of this cesspool called the education system and actually taught their kids at home with a real curriculum. These kids are smart and motivated and will at some point rule the pansy masses that are being cranked out of the school systems today. Why? Because they don't cry over an election result, run to safe spaces because they don't like something and actually have a backbone to take on this nonsense.

The reason why the liberals and mainstream media despise Trump is the guy doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks of him and isn't beholden to anyone's money. He doesn't care about power, maybe his ego, but we all have flaws. He cares deeply for this country and is trying to fix it which starts by upending the political establishment in DC which explains why they, career politicians from both sides of the aisle, want him out. They don't know what to do with somebody who has the nuts to call things what they are. Thank GOD it's a breath of fresh air for a change.

He cares about transferring the power back to the people, NOT having power OVER the people... Big difference!! He is also demonstrating peace through strength to the rest of the world, ie: POWER. They don't have to like us, just respect us. N Korea is a good example of this so far. Trump has already gotten more out of that nut job in N Korea than any other president did. I heard a lib the other day saying that from the time a child is born, they are not going to use the words "he" or "she" until the CHILD decides what gender they want to be, usually around the age of 4!!! That sounds like a serious mental disorder to me. Now I ask, who is destroying the culture?????

 CNN may take issue with what you've written:

With socialism, everyone starves, except for the bosses in charge of supplying the food.

Capitalism works best, just look at the super-duper kayaks you can get for season end mark down prices at the Plymouth Walmart ...... they all sold out .... all gonzo ....... just one left ..... a $529 now $265, 10' , cap 500-lb, fishing specialized big water kayak, paddle included, duck hunter green!

With socialism, the bosses get fat eating sugar donuts and smoking cigars, and everyone else is thin and sick from living on stale bread crusts and sour milk!

Since there seem to be some avid Trump supporters here, seems like a good place to ask...

Trump says he's going to release some classified documents that will prove there was bias against him within the the FBI during the 2016 election and therefore shows the investigation was tainted from the start. To be completely honest, his assertions seem completely plausible, most people hate the guy.

So let's say Trump does prove bias, so what? Why would it matter? The investigation has already produced dozens of indictments and a bunch of convictions (most from airtight confessions and plea deals) which means that regardless of the impetus for the investigation, there was clearly a lot of law-breaking going on around the man.

I totally get that you can't use illegally gathered evidence to convict someone, but I don't think there are any laws prohibiting law enforcement from investigating (and legally gathering evidence on) someone that they also happen to dislike personally. Anyone here know what the actual laws are on this? To me, it seems like Trump is just posturing in order to change public opinion and that won't have any effect on the current and future convictions that result from the Mueller probe.
