Driver's License Renewal Online ?

Can I renew my Driver's License Online ?

FYI, I haven't received any notification from the state of NH that this is available to me, so not sure this is possible ?

The thoughts of driving to the Concord DMV, waiting in line and spending several hours of my time with the masses, seems like online renewal would be more practical, but then again we're talking about a govt. entity. :)

Thoughts from the Forum appreciated !

It appears that in certain circumstances, you can renew on line.

I think you need a NEW photo every other renewal, thus you may need to go in and not do it online.

License renewal

Just go off the phone with NH DMV, and they told me you can only renew your license online once every 10 years. In my case I already did that last renwal process, so not eligible to go around.....

They were able to make an appt. for me this Monday, and said just to come to the front desk and tell them I was here for my appt., and they would see me on the scheduled time.

Can it really be this easy ? WOW ! Hope all goes well Monday for me.

You might consider getting the RealID while going there in person—only takes a couple extra documents and then you're good to fly domestically without a passport/card.

+1 on real ID. Also, at least in Mass (so worth a look for NH), you can renew and get real ID at AAA. Super easy and no waiting.

If you are a vet you can also have that designation put on your new license. Requires a hard copy of your DD-214.

It's a nice little drive. Might get in line behind one or two others.
Done!

I already have the Real-Id and Veteran's notation on my license.

Since both are already on file, I hope they do make me jump through the hoops again, to produce all the documentation ?

Being the DMV is a State agency, anything is possible......

When I had my last renewal coming up, the packet sent to remind me had a link for online. I had renewed it online last time, so assumed I couldn't do it again. Tried the link they sent, and I was able to do it online. Glad since I don't think I would pass the eye test this time :rolleye2:

What time of day do you go out and what roads do you typically drive on?

(Just being cautious) :liplick:

I can see road signs just fine.....now markers on the lake :rolleye2:

Funny thing, when I had to take my son for his license, because of covid they didn't use the machines. Had him look at the wall sign. I was behind him and could read what they asked plus the next 2 lines easily.
