FOOD - Forum Fest Sign Up List

Please use this thread to post what food item(s) you're planning on bringing. This isn't a manditory thing - you dont have to bring something in order to attend - but it is fun to sample all the goodies that folks bring. We have some awesome cooks here on the Forum!

We will have electical outlets available for those of you bringing crockpots or other appliances to warm (or cool) food. To make sure we have enough, please note if your dish will need power.

:D

I'm in...

I will bring a food item to share-not sure what yet...I will not need electricity. Just a suggestion to help keep things simple...just bring whatever you want and show up!!

donnamatrix 07-07-2010 10:30 AM

What is the date

Was a final date/place determined? I know we talked about Center Harbor, but what is the day???? I will bring salsa/chips (homemade of course)

August 21 from 1-4pm - see the thread asking if we're going to have another FF...

donnamatrix 07-14-2010 11:02 AM

FF in Center Harbor?

AW: is it going to be in Center Harbor? Can we put (or get Don to put) like a BIG notification on the site so everyone will know and not have to drill down thru 50 messages to get the info??
Donna

Food item

I will also bring food items for all to share, but have not decided what, yet. May well be stuffed breads from New Haven, and something else. Count me in!

I'm thinking Chicken Wings! And perhaps a dessert! :D

Lucky1 07-26-2010 02:12 PM

I plan to bring either two or three nice cold watermellons or Hart's blueberry pies. If it is to be a hot day I will do the watermellons.

Meredith lady 07-30-2010 10:32 PM

it's sounding delicious!

thanks everyone!!

Ribs

Anyone up for some ribs- if so I will cook a few racks up.

My recollection is that there is a gas grill at the pavillion, but I will double-check.

Redwing 08-03-2010 09:05 AM

Ribs...

...sound fantastic. I am getting hungry just thinking about all of this wonderful food!

Meredith lady 08-03-2010 10:07 AM

Vb...

Let me know if there is a grill!

I think that you can bring your own grill. Does anyone know how many are planning on attending?

BroadHopper 08-10-2010 09:24 AM

Won't be attending

Working in the retail trade. I have no idea when my days off are or what my hours will be. :(

Misty Blue brought his grill one time. Put it to great use.:liplick:

If anyone wants to make my famous chili, I can PM the recipe.

donnamatrix 08-11-2010 11:48 AM

Additional stuff to bring

In addition to salsa/chips, I am going to bring a black bean salad- it's only a little spicy.

donnamatrix 08-11-2010 11:50 AM

Name Badges?

How will we know who everyone is??

I took a ride by and did not see one.

Lucky1 08-12-2010 09:46 AM

I asked someone there who said that you can bring a grill. I did not see one the time I stopped by and looked a week or two ago.

Mee-n-Mac 08-13-2010 04:51 PM

I'll be the first guy with food spilled all over my shirt...:D

IslandRadio 08-16-2010 10:20 PM

We plan on bringing home made chili - should be good regardless of the weather ! And some dogs for whatever grill (if any) is there - an Island staple, after all :)

pcmc 08-19-2010 10:41 PM

We're not sure exactly what to bring...betting we'll have two tired, rambunctious boys (6&8) that have been couped up in the car most of the day traveling. We have two stops to make on the way, and are hoping to arrive late afternoon.
We are thinking of stopping before we arrive and picking up some drinks. (soda, lemonade, ect..)

My boys are ages 5 & 9 and may be with me, if I'm able to make it. (Sorry to be vague but I'm a business owner... days off or even an afternoon off are rare these days.)

angela4design 08-21-2010 09:41 AM

I'll be there with my son (almost five) as well. Still not sure what food to bring, I'll probably stop at the market on the way.
