looks like a Coyote.

That looks like an Eastern Coyote. I could not see the tail in any of the pics which may indicate a Coydog (cross between coyote and domestic dog).

Either way this is their "birthing season" so be very careful. They are protective of their young and could attack if you get between the mom (or dad) and their young. And they are hungry so be protective of your pets.

It would be remiss of me to not point out that even a 35+/- dog can attack small children too. If you live in an area that has wild animals such as coydog/coyote keep an extra eye on the little ones.

A full grown adult may not be able to save themselves, let alone a loved one when being attacked by a wild animal trying to protect their own.

Almost looks like a wild boar in the first pic. Especially since you can't see the tail.

I thought the same thing but doesn't it appear to have to much hair?

Definitely a coyote. Look for the tail in the pictures to the right of the animal's left hind leg.
