Custom Fiberglass Work

1 Attachment(s)
i'm looking to add a bit of length on the back my hardtop. can anyone recommend a shop around laconia who does custom fiberglass? actually, it wouldn't need to be glass.. could be aluminum or starboard too.

looking to add about 18-20" to the back of the top.

Does it have to be fiberglass or anything that gives shade would be fine?

There are a lot of these on boats and some even have power extend. It may be a less expensive alternative and won't add as much weight up high.

You know who's really good with Sunbrella and stainless steel marine tubing for extending the top, or making an enclosure, or something ..... is www.villagecanvas.com in Meredith ...... plus, you will not pay too much money there for a real quality job!

Plus, winter is a good time to get it done. Tell him I sent you, and he'll double the price.

Your boat looks similar to the Dr. Hook sport fishing charter/Weirs Beach which got painted white over the Crestliner graphics maybe ten years ago .... take a look at his super set-up.

Ron's Fiberglass

I feel a custom extension is the most expensive way to go, but you do save on existing frame work, etc. There may be a vendor at the boat show this week, and I think one of the advertisers on TV show ShipShape TV does this stuff. Locally, Ron's Fiberglass on Rt 107 in Belmont does great work. I just don't know if he does this kind of work. Otherwise, top quality and fair pricing.

great, thanks guys.

i've seen dr hook's rig up close actually. saw it in the yard at dave's last fall. apparently he was checking out mine too, before i was checking out his. i like a few of the mods he's done to his, especially the floors. all textured starboard, really nice. he also has an extension on the back of his top, but his is canvas.
