Arethusa Falls?

Is anyone familiar with this hike? I'm wondering if its do-able with kids (6 to 13 years old.).

Hi, We did just the falls trail ( I hear there is a loop as well) last year with 4 children ages 5-11. It was a bit trying at times on the youngest but she made it. Good luck

Thanks for the input! I think we will give it a shot. I'll have my 4 kids with me as well. :)

I would rate sections of Arethusa as moderate on the main trail. Very doable for the kids. Not a lot to see until you get to the falls. Last year I came back down on the Bemis Brook loop. The first part of this is pretty steep on your way down the drainage but once you reach the river its very cool with all the little swimming pools and we never saw one other person.
Here's a nice hiking site I like to use for a description.
