I would agree...

I think it is an absolutely gorgeous boat!

Saw a Riva pull into Gilford public docks last summer, what a beauty !
The design, engine sound, the complete package.

The owner was late 70's maybe 80, came in from one of the islands.
Two woman looking like super models were sitting in the back seats.
I'm sure they were his nieces ! :)

While that is clearly a beautiful boat, my tastes are not that fancy.

To me, a beautiful boat is one that has zero issues and is full of friends and family on a nice warm, sunny day.

I would be afraid of scratching that masterpiece!

That would be Irwin Muskat of Welch Island. That is one beautiful boat that he has! Irwin is a very generous nice guy who knows how to have fun!!

Riva

Speaking of Riva...maybe the ultimate RIVA...:) NB

PS: Go over to Goodhue Hawkins in Wolfboro and see the latest Hacker-Craft. Looks like a Riva.

I think it's gorgeous, but I think many Van Dam boats are just as lovely if not more so.

here's one I'm fond of:

The Riva is nice, but when gas prices go back up you will need to be ready:

I didn't know that was Irwin. I first met him when I was about 14. Our family owned a meat processing company in Nh and Irwin's Father-in-law owned a slaughter house in Manchester. Irwin ended up taking over the Granite State Packing business from Lester and grew it big as Jac-Pac and other brands. He then sold it to Tyson I believe.

Hello, brand new forum member here and will be picking up my new (used) 2007 Four Winns Horizon 190 in about a week.

Not intending to hijack this thread about the beautiful boat (which it is) but more to add an anecdote about the Irwin Muskat/Welch Island comment.

I used to be in a band that played for Irwin's summer "theme parties" called the "Souled Out Show Band" and it was quite the experience!
The band always had a great time and I think the party goers did too!

The load ins and load outs of our equipment was quite a task all the way from the Gilford docks onto a ferry/taxi and then out to the island to Irwin's docks then over wooded and paved paths up to where the giant tent was for our gig...Outside of the load-in load-out from hell...it was a blast.
Irwin has quite the compound out there on Welch!

Just a great memory now as I have since retired from work and the band and will be looking forward to travelling the lake and seeing it's beautiful sights.
Again, sorry for the hijack but I felt compelled to add the Muskat gigs as a point of interest for some on here that may have been some of the attendees to his parties.

See you on the forum!
