Boat lift

I have a covered boat lift that needs new cables. I have an issue finding someone that would do that type of work. Several phone calls to businesses have gone unanswered and not returning messages. Any suggestions or recommendations? On Rattlesnake. Thanks in advance

You will get better responses if you specify the location.

For a small jet ski lift, a new stainless cable from the local hardware store will go good, but for a larger boat lift is best to get the replacement cable from the boat lift company such as Shore Station or Hewitt for best fit and use. The replacement cable kit will include replacement installation instructions as well.

Rubbing Vaseline on the cable in the off season while it is out of the water will go good to maintain the cable.

This is a home owner(?) type project like replacing the pressure switch on a water pump, or something.
