Phujee

Hi, i know they are closed but is it temporary or for good? So miss their general gau chicken

I've been wondering the same thing. I was told by someone who knows the family, that the wife has been trying to convince the husband to retire so Covid may have done it.

Extremely sad that this pandemic has caused so many business to close.

many reports say a third of all restaurants will go bankrupt. For New Hampshire outdoor dining options will go away pretty quickly at least at night. we may lose more over the winter

How does China Bistro stays in business.

That is a great question. I pass by every wand rarely see cars in the lot. Last night which obviously was Saturday I passed about 6:30 and I think there were 2 cars.

The same way Zacky's Pizza in Meredith stayed in biz for so long...A large mystery ...

Mainly take-out. That place is booming with stacks of orders going out the door, but for sit-in it is always empty. I think in the last decade I've eaten in there maybe twice. Food is 'ok' at best, but its the only local game.

MotorHead 09-30-2020 01:02 PM

We went there once. Food was horrible.
I think the waitress was shocked to see customers when we walked in.

After all these years, we are still looking for a decent Asian Food.

A buddy of mine is married to a Chinese women and he swears by Green Ginger over by Hobby Lobby in Tilton. Most of the Chinese restaurants up here are still take out only.

He told me his wife is a great cook and they both rave about the food at Green Ginger. I haven't eaten there yet but I respect his opinion.

It's been a few years but I wasn't disappointed by the food at J P China in Alton Bay.
