Looking for 6-6ft picnic tables that can take a beating.

Looking for wood ones, composite are going to be out of the budget.

Any leads are appreciated

Lowe's in Gilford and Tilton has 72" southern pine picnic tables for $99.98-each that have the four support legs made with pressure treated, southern pine.

In September and October they get marked down and sometimes go as low as $19.98 if the top has been scratched and damaged. Is easy enough to smooth out the damage with a belt sander.

I actually have two of these Lowe's $19.98 bargain special, el cheapos on the grounds of my mega million dollar, waterfront mcmansion!

Slap three coats of exterior latex primer and paint on them, and elevate the legs up off the ground with small concrete garden blocks or something, and they can last for a hundred years ..... easy!

Take a look for Lifetime tables. Once in a while they have a great sale, and they're bulletproof--the ice cream stand near me uses them.

Picnic tables
 

Rt 28 in South Wolfeboro there is a driveway with a large pile of wood picnic tables. Not too far north of the big left turn at Weston Auto. I am sorry I don't know the name nor a phone number.

Was in the market last year. For the money the Lowe’s tables are hard to beat. Guy on 28 has good tables but cost well above Lowe’s.

Have had the Pine/Fur ones.
Didn't last long enough. If left outside.
Now have pressure treated. Has lasted a long time.

Above suggestions are excellent.

Wood picnic tables that live outside all the time should be painted all over, everywhere, so they don't get yucky, and become water saturated and moldy, plus they look much better.

Old yucky wood picnic tables can be renewed by totally dryng them out, and starting with two coats of Valspar exterior latex gray primer.

Tinted gray latex exterior primer and two coats of a hard surface exterior gloss keep it for years and years. Also, placing those 68-cent gray concrete bricks under each leg keeps the moisture from traveling up the legs. Repaint the upper surfaces maybe every three year, or so.

Pressure treated picnic table?

That doesn't sound right to me....
