JP China
Stopped by today and was surprised to learn they are out of business. New owner planning to reopen as an American fare restaurant.
Interesting day. Plan A) Seabird in Wolfeboro, closed Sunday's. B) JP China, see above. C) Pops - see other post. D) Sibley's on the Pier - nice meal as always. |

I'm not sure if it is because of Covid, lack of help, or lack of interest in a Chinese cuisine. |
Anyone know about Phu Jee in Meredith? Is this a lake-round issue?

Lee Wah Chen (Moultonborough) seems to be doing well.

The one on Lake Avenue in Laconia is still going. (Best crab Rangoon award!)

Lee Wah IS doing well—at least, it's busy every time we've been lately. Sent from my SM-G950U using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app |

The food is horrible and place is always empty. |
Went to lee wah a couple of years ago and ordered chef chu chicken and it was not good. Looked liked it had been frozen and was mostly dark meat and fat so will not go again. The one in meredith to me is the best and home they do open

Chinese around Laconia
Is not good. Many locals travel to Tilton to the Green Ginger across from the outlet mall or Green Dragon in Loudon. Never tried Seabird. Not keen on the two buffet places in Laconia/Belmont.
Lemon Grass is always a local favorite as well, just a little too far. |
I second Green Ginger, It's the best I have found in the Lakes Region. Phu Jee was good too but no longer in business.
