The Meredith Parks and Rec Department has invited the New Horizons Band
of the Lakes Region, made up of musicians from many NH towns, to present
a July 4 concert at Hesky Park in Meredith, beginning at 7pm and
preceding the fireworks display. Director Debbi Gibson has chosen
diversified music for the pleasure of all ages, from tributes to the
Armed Forces and America, to musicals, marches, and children's
favorites. The community band will feature pieces from the Beatles,
"Bohemian Rhapsody", "Game of Thrones", Disney, Louis Armstrong, and
many more selections, recognizable to most listeners who are young in
age and in spirit.

Other band concert venues for July include the Sanbornton Old Home Days
on July 20 and the Taylor Community on July 24. All concerts are open
and free to the public.
