Everyone 16 years of age and older who operates a motorboat over 25 horsepower on New Hampshire waters must have a boating education certificate.

By attending one of the NH Marine Patrol Boater's Education classes in the Lakes Region, you will gain valuable knowledge for boating on the big lake and surrounding waters. The State proctored examination is included with the classroom course and is given during the last hour of the class.

Enjoy an evening on the water aboard the M/S Mount Washington. All dinner cruises include a delicious buffet dinner and dancing to live music. Whatever your taste or favorite era, our popular theme cruises have something for you. During July and August we offer dinner dance cruises Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

The Lakes Region Power Squadron will be hosting a free Boating Fair for the purpose of sharing information and activities about this volunteer educational organization. Several Lakes Region Marina's will also be present to discuss their businesses. If you would like to learn about how you can be a part of the Squadron's activities, including Boater Educational Days and/or Vessel Safety Check Days please be sure to stop by. The event will be held at the Beane Conference Center, 35 Blueberry Lane, Laconia NH.
