Laconia Motorcycle Week

On Monday, June 11, 2012 Laconia Country Club will be hosting the Fourth
Annual Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region Benefit Golf Tournament. Play will begin at 8:30 am with a Shotgun Start. Included are breakfast, lunch, golf cart, prizes, a silent auction, and raffles.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region is part of a nationwide organization offering much needed programs for children to develop leadership skills and engage positive behaviors to live successfully as self-sufficient adults. The local chapter currently serves an average of 50 children every day. Offerings include after school programs, NH Food Bank assistance, nutrition programs, Summer Vacation Camp, an outdoor education program, academic assistance, and so much more. The Club has recently begun partnering with several community agencies to provide better and more varied programs for families. These community partnerships include Genesis Behavioral Health, the Family Resource Center, Laconia Schools, the Appalachian Mountain Teen Project, and the Gilford Youth Center.
