Getting over to Plymouth Wal-Mart earlier today at about 9:45-am, at the stoplight intersection of Highland Ave & Tenney Mt Hgwy (Rt 25) noticed a big orange NH Dept of Transportation dump truck all smashed up. The front steel bumper was totally separated from the truck, and the hood and radiator grill were very smashed in. I didn't see the smash-up in action, just the effects. The truck, apparently for some reason unknown to me, headon-ed into a big steel post close to or part of the traffic lights.
No police, no fire and no ambulance were present. A number of orange cones and another DOT vehicle with yellow lights, and about four DOT workers were set up to divert traffic around the smash-up, heading towards Wal-Mart, on a busy Rt 25.
Gotta wonder what happened to be having the truck get all smashed up like that.....seems like a DOT accident is pretty unusual.....so wonder-wonder-wonder what happened?
