Drove by Meredith Bay today and the two bohouses out there look like they are starting to sink. I have been watching them everyday. The grey one looks to be falling through the ice and the plywood one is on very grey ice and won't be long before it falls through. I don't think they can be brought in now.
It seems pretty irresponsible for a couple people to just leave those out there and let them fall through the ice.
Typically I see that bobhouses left out there when the ice starts to get soft are usally pulled into shore and left there.
Wonder why they didn't do that this year?
