Laconia Athletic & Swim Club 603-524-9252

http://www.lascfit.com/ (http://www.lascfit.com/)

Conveniently located on North Main Street in Laconia, New Hampshire,
Directly across from the Laconia Fire Station. Open Monday through Friday 5am-9pm

Great place to workout, if you like to work out when there are not many people around, go between 1 and 3PM. They have a full line up equipment, free weights, bikes, tred mills, steppers plus the pool and they offer aerobics and other types of classes if you're in to that.

SHORT TERM MEMBERSHIPS

In addition to yearly memberships, we offer short term memberships. You may join LASC for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 month summer, 6 months, 20 block visits, or 40 block visits. If after your short term membership expires, you decide to join as a regular member, we will apply the monies received towards your year membership. Block visits have a two year expiration date.
If you want, I have 2 "Free 1 Week of Fitness" coupons that I could send you, either for you and a friend or you can use both cards (each card is for a week free). Let me know.

There's a great gym right past the McDonalds in Meredith on Rte 3. The Fitness Edge gym has cardio, weights, aerobics but no pool. But I figure you can swim in the lake if that's what you like to do. Tammy is the owner and is a great person. Everyone there is just as nice as can be. Enjoy your stay here at the lake.

Thanks for two great suggestions. I'm looking forward to checking them out next week.
