I remember back in the '50's, someone had a sled built by the laconia car works boat shop that carried a dozen folks. They would go to the Laconia Country club where there is a loooong gentle slope. It was a quite a sight!
I can only recall a Morin family owned it at that time. Haven't seen it since.

mcdude, I read this morning that the NY TImes is going to start charging for viewing their on-line paper. No more freebees I guess. Hard to understand this logic from a marketing standpoint.:confused:
