Has anyone had experience working with the state and RR in constructing a pedestrian railroad crossing? I am in the process of working out an agreement so I can "legally access" or cross over the tracks to get to my docks and Beach area.
They require it to be built with their contractors at my cost but can't give me a cost without a signed agreement and $400.00. Has anyone had one built? What is the approximate cost? How bad do they look?...Thanks

hold on onthebay, you mean to tell me rolex and ray ray have been illegally crossing the tracks?
there is a wooden walkway on waukewan, not sure if it was built legally or not, but its as good a looking wooden sidewalk as i've seen. if you don't get any other responses here i'll go knock on their door.

Weirs guy. No one else has gotten back yet. If you could find out a little bit from them it would be great?
By the way spring baseball starts in a couple of weeks. Fall ball just ended a month ago.
